The campus community is invited to Le Cafe in Morris Hall at 4pm on Friday, April 19, for the Sustainable Development Goals Speaker Series hosted by the Department of Economics. In the second talk of this series, Dr. Michael Haupert (University of Wisconsin-La Crosse) will discuss heretofore unexplored data from the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League—in existence from 1943 to 1954—to measure and compare the “exploitation rates” of male and female ballplayers.
