Dr. Christine Storrie and Dr. Kpoti Kitissou (Department of Economics) participated in the 2023 American Economic Association annual conference held in New Orleans, LA, from Jan. 6-8. Dr. Storrie presented the paper titled “Minimum Wage and the U.S. Gender Wage Gap: A State-Level Analysis,” co-written with Dr. Kpoti Kitissou for the Association for Social Economics & International Association for Feminist Economics joint session with the Association for Social Economics. Dr. Storrie also participated in the American Economic Association & Committee on Economic Education poster session with her paper titled “Student-Driven Modules for Macroeconomics Classes: Lessons from the Fed Challenge,” based on teaching methods employed in ECON 3216 Fed Challenge Prep Course offered each fall.
