Indie filmmakers to speak at career Q&A

Career Development Event: Q&A with Indie Filmmakers about Careers in Film (Monday, Nov. 11)

Students: Are you interested in a career in the film industry, but don’t know where to get started? Do you like to make short films and videos, yet aren’t sure how to get them seen by the right people?

The Department of Communication & Media, in partnership with Glimmerglass Film Days, presents a Q&A discussion with professional filmmakers about jobs in independent film and broader issues in the film production world. Documentary filmmakers Mike Attie (Sundance Documentary Film Program Fellow) and Aube Giroux (creator of PBS Food’s Kitchen Vignettes) will be appearing in-person to share their experiences working in the industry and to answer your questions.
