Office of Continuing Education to offer two-week glass blowing class

The Office of Continuing Education is offering a new non-credit class you won’t want to miss:  Glass Blowing Two-Week Class

In this competitively priced class, students will learn the basics of glass blowing: shop safety, tools, and terminology. Classes will consist of small glass blowing demonstrations, and hands-on experiences.

Basic hand tools used in the process and glass blowing terminology will be discussed.  From there, students will learn to make their own unique, one-of-a-kind creations.  Artistic freedom is encouraged.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will learn how to gather glass from a molten state, shape the glass, and come home with works of art and an awesome experience.

Students of all experience levels are welcome! Pre-payment and registration is required!
